This is the intro to a very new segment called "Unpopular Opinionist". I'll be sharing my opinions that either always gets pushed to the side because it's not the trending statement or usually most people disagree with it. Most times I state what people don't want to hear and I've learned to own it and be proud of it.

My first unpopular opinion involves Kanye West's tweet about social media platforms needing an option to not display followers and view/likes. The reasoning for this suggestion is to make social media users feel comfortable expressing themselves through posting without the pressure of impressing their follower base, and decrease depression/suicide rates.
