The Odunde Festival is one of the most cultural festivals that Philly has every year, every second Sunday of June. It's filled with black-owned businesses, African/Black culture, music, dancing, networking, and much more. I've attended this festival since I was little, and I've even performed at this festival once with a dance studio I attended years ago. As of currently, my friends and I attend this festival every year (except last year due to bad weather). For the past few years I've periodically connected with the co-founder of the festival. I respect all the blood, sweat, and tears she sacrifices to make this happen every single year...especially since the passing of her mother two year ago in which she was the founder of this festival.

If you're a tourist in Philadelphia, PA in the month of June, the Odunde Festival is a great event to attend. Visit us next year to get the Odunde experience!
